Would you pay $948 for a collector's box with no music inside?

Beyoncé's 'Bey Keeper' collector's box for the 20th anniversary of B'Day costs $948.01 and, as fans quickly noticed, doesn't include the records themselves. Superfan merch keeps getting pricier and more elaborate. Is this a fair price for a piece of pop history, or has collector culture gone too far?
